Hi Y’all — I have been asked to send a message to all of you about raffle prizes for Planters Days, If you have anything you want to contribute please bring them along with you to the meeting at Vern and Marys on April 28th. This will hopefully be our last meeting for our upcoming Planters Days celebration. Thanks — Gary.
Hi everyone. I hope you are still doing OK. Theresa and I have moved into our new (to us) home in Long Beach, Wa. We are still working our asses off trying to get all of our crap rearranged. I finally got the shop I’ve always wanted but it’s going to take forever to get it setup. It’s a mess. It’s amazing how much crap a person can accumulate when living in the same place for 26 years. I’m damned near embarrassed (Not really
I want to send you all a quick message about a planned meeting/ Planters days setup meeting. It is scheduled for March 17th at around 5 p.m. at Vern and Mary’s house. Mary is planning on chicken so please bring a side dish to accompany. We’ll eat and BS and start somewhat of a meeting afterward.
I hope to see you there,
Long time no see. I hope all of you are doing OK. I’m sending you this information about the MHRC toy drive for this year. Remember the toys have to be new and unwrapped. I don’t have any ideas yet of who will be participating in the actual drive to the hospital. Any volunteers?
I also need to inform all of you about the fact that Theresa and I will be moving out of the area. We are purchasing a house in Long Beach WA. We have been talking about this for a long time and finally decided to make the move. We plan to remain in the club for as long as the club exists. However I will not be able to remain as your president and Theresa will not be able to remain as your treasurer. I truly appreciate all of you accepting us into your club and having enough faith in us to take on these positions. We believe that it would be very difficult for us to continue in our positions while living permanently at the coast.
We have a spare bedroom that is full of raffle prizes for this year’s Planters’ Days show. Can any of you store these for the club? Please let us know.
Rose City Classics took over the car show portion of Woodland Planters’ Days on Father’s Day 2004. After two years of absence due to the Covid situation we are working with the Woodland Planters’ Days committee on plans for the show’s return in 2022. Here are a few pictures of the 2004 show.
Hi everyone. Here are a couple of things for all of you to think about.
First, your club needs a representative to attend the MHRC meetings. Their meetings are on the third Tuesday of every month. John and Donna have always taken this on. Since Donna is not feeling well we are looking for someone to step up. Please let me know if you are interested.
Second, it’s that time for nominations for your club officers and board. If you are interested or know of someone that is please let me know.
I hope that all of you are still doing OK and that maybe someday we can get back to our club meetings and activities.Best wishes,
